About the Filmmakers
Rina Hassan and Jarrett Lyn made their first film through Basement Apt., a collective of filmmakers founded by writers and directors who have graduated the City Life Film Project. The group also includes Kimberly Miller-Pryce, Tichaona Tapambwa, Anthony Truong Swan, Joyce Bermudez, and Stanley Patrao. Together they are driven to produce films prioritizing artistry and equity.
